Hello! I am Chelsea Amasiorah, an artist whose works welcome you into a space where reality and imagination blur.

Welcome to my surreal world of vibrant colours, cosmic wonders and whimsical escapism. I am drawn to the beauty of nature, patterns, the cosmos and the infinite possibilities it holds.

Harnessing every brush stroke to transcend to places imagined while I incorporate elements of playfulness, nostalgia and humor through cartoonish unorthodox figures offering a lighthearted escape from the chaos of this world and reality. It’s a way of holding on to my child-like guilelessness whilst navigating and living life as a young lady in Nigeria.

We are often guided by things we see, I believe the eyes are a door to the mind and a window to the soul so I find inspiration from sight, sounds, emotions and experiences I have had and desire to distort in my own form - whether it’s a scene, a fleeting moment, pain or a memory sparked by a song or scent.

It’s these experiences in sights and scenes that I find seeds for my work. I hope to plant those same seeds in your mind. After all growth is paramount and essential for development.
